Assembly

Many of our customers request value-added services and Diversified Plastics, Inc. is only too happy to help. Frequently, there is a cost savings to the customer if a subsequent operation involving the plastic parts is done at Diversified Plastics. These services can include decorating, assembling or machining, to name a few. Our decorating capabilities include pad printing, silk screening and hot stamping. Assembly of components can be accomplished by sonic welding, spin welding, or by hand, depending on the requirement. Sometimes all that is needed is a simple operation such as adding an o-ring to the part. This can be done at the press while the parts are running so that there is very little or no extra costs. Inserts can be installed during the molding process or as a secondary operation with heat or sonics.
